Mayu Sato
Age 26 – Japan
Mayu Sato from Tokyo, Japan, graduated from Rissho Kose-Kai Gakurin Seminary in November 2014.
Rissho Kosei-Kai is a worldwide Buddhist organization founded in Japan in 1938 by Nikkyo Niwano and Myoko Naganuma. It combines the wisdom of both the Lotus Sutra and the foundational teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha. Its purpose is to bring these transformative teachings to the modern world.
The Lotus Sutra is a teaching of human respect, both the study and practice of a spiritual path that develops human potential, and a way of living that seeks peace for all people.
Living the spirit of the Rissho Kosei Kai, I started working as a staff of Donate-a-Meal Fund for Peace from December 2014 but also in different activities like “Dream Bag Project” , Japan Blankets for Africa Campaign and so on.
What is the Peace for me? When there are a lot of smiles among people.
