Astrid Ng Kit Lam
Age 24 – Singapore
Originally born in Hong Kong, Astrid moved over to Singapore when she was 3 with her parents and has lived there ever since. Growing up as a Catholic in a multi-religious and multi-cultural society was a unique experience, and she is grateful to have friends from different races, religions and backgrounds.
She majored in Communication in University but decided to pursue her true passion, Music, as her career path. These days, you can find her teaching fun music programs to children, singing, and performing with various choirs. She aspires to be an advocate for the arts and language, and to mold and nurture young minds through her role as an educator.
Peace to me means feeling at home with those around you, and the solace and silver linings that we seek amidst the storms that take place beyond and within ourselves.
