Tomas Villar de Rohde

My name is Tomas Villar de Rohde,I study Political Sciences and International Relations at the Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) in Buenos Aires.
I am half German, half Argentinean and I speak German, Spanish, French and English, hoping to continue learning more languages as my studies advance. I am committed to Peace efforts all around the world, especially Pan-American cooperation, the European Union, and inter religious and intercultural dialogue around the world. My conviction is that the idea of worldwide Peace is actually achievable, and that the most important tool in reaching such state of global peace is dialogue and respect, best practiced by and done through the youth of this world, as we will be the leaders of tomorrow.
My very personal dream and hope is to one day become a person of political or philanthropical influence in order to help promote Peace efforts from a visible and influential place on the world stage. Peace begins with and within you, and the Peace revolution as we call it comes from the people, but I wish to become an example for others, because in today’s globalized and interconnected media world I believe celebrities and politicians have more power than ever. Let’s use that power to achieve global Peace!
Peace is a world without physical barriers and cultural prejudices, where all nations cohabit in harmony and global cooperation.
